Staff from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland are attending a Festival Fun Day, being arranged by Places For People Scotland, on Saturday 31st August 2024 between 11am and 3pm at 1 Hay Avenue, Edinburgh EH16 4RW.
Earlier today the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team joined colleagues from Police Scotland Edinburgh Prevention, Intervention Partnerships Department at the Gyle Shopping Centre, Edinburgh for a Community Safety Event.
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team were back at the Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Blair Atholl on Saturday 24th August along with colleagues from Police Scotland’s Rural, Acquisitive & Business Preventions Team, the British Horse Society Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, ScotEquine and Equine Grass Sickness Fund providing helpful information and advice.
The team visited Glasgow Womens Integration Network at St Matthews Centre on Thursday 22nd August. It was great to meet @OliviaNdoti and the team as well as women from all over the globe, who attend the group on a weekly basis.

On Wednesday 7th August the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team as part of the Ayrshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (APARC) joined other colleagues from the group, including Police Scotland, British Horse Society Scotland, Scottish Water and East Ayrshire Council at Dumfries House for the Dumfries House Dog Show.
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland staff were also at the Royal Bank of Scotland's Sauchiehall Street branch in Glasgow today with RBS staff, local Police Officer from Greater Glasgow Division, and Trading Standards, speaking to members of the public about scam and fraud prevention as well as the benefits of being part of a Neighbourhood Watch and signing up to Neighbourhood Alert.
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team have been out and about today within Royal Bank of Scotland branches, along with RBS staff and local police teams, speaking to members of the public about scam and fraud prevention as well as the benefits of being part of a Neighbourhood Watch and of signing up to the free Neighbourhood Alert system.
NWS had a fantastic time at the Border Union Show in Kelso today. A huge thank you to our partners at Police Scotland Scottish Borders and SPARC (Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime) who allowed us to share their stall.
We had a great time today at the Sky Family Fun Day in Livingston, where we joined Police Scotland, Andy’s Man Club and The Boys’ Brigade who provided helpful information and advice and highlighted groups in the area.
