The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team were with Royal Bank of Scotland staff and several other organisations at their Empower Digital Event in the bank's Hamilton branch yesterday.
We had a great day speaking with members of the public about scam and fraud prevention, as well as the benefits of being part of a Neighbourhood Watch scheme and of signing up to the free Alert system.
Lots of topics were raised including concerns regarding the winter fuel allowance and the cost of living, and advice was given from bank staff and those from the appropriate organisations present. It’s great to see groups and organisations working together to help build stronger, safer communities by providing support wherever possible.
