Fantastic Day at Barrhead Foundry
We had a fantastic day at the BT Digital Voice Drop-In Event at Barrhead Foundry, meeting local residents and chatting about the digital switchover, what it means for them, and where they can access support and advice.
It was wonderful to see so many people come along, ask questions, share their experiences, and have helpful discussions about the Digital Voice switchover and the support available.

While in the area, we were also out and about delivering BT Digital Voice and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland leaflets, helping residents stay informed about the switchover and raising awareness of how Neighbourhood Watch Scotland supports safer, stronger, and more connected communities.

A huge thank you to the staff at Barrhead Foundry Library and Centre Reception for their fantastic support throughout the day and to the wonderful Police Scotland Community Officer who joined us and provided helpful information and advice.

And most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by to speak with us. We really appreciated the opportunity to meet local residents, answer questions, and hear your views.

Important Reminder
BT, EE and Plusnet customers will be moved to Digital Voice by January 2027. The old analogue phone network is being switched off and replaced with digital landlines that work using broadband.

If your provider contacts you about Digital Voice, please follow their guidance and take any necessary action to help avoid disruption to your service.

From community conversations to leaflet drops, here are a few photos from our day in Barrhead, helping residents stay informed about the BT Digital Voice switchover and the work of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland.
