Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

TPAS Annual Conference 2024

Staff from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland were at the Golden Jubilee Hotel, Clydebank today for the 1st day of the TPAS Scotland Annual Conference, where around 200 delegates from a variety of organisations including Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Together Leading Communities, Generations Working together, Community Links Scotland, Men Matter Scotland, Scottish Action for Mental Health, as well as various councils and housing associations, such as Dalmuir Park, Barrhead, Langstane, Albyn, Tollcross, Castlehill, Bridgewater, Scottish Borders, Hebridean, Angus, Hjaltland, West of Scotland, Cunninghame, Wheatley Homes, Bield to name but a few will be attending over the 3 days.

The aim of this year’s conference is to bring together tenants, housing providers, policymakers, and community leaders to share best practice, discuss challenges, and discuss collaborative solutions around.
It was such a fabulous day, where we got the opportunity to speak to tenants from all over Scotland and hear about what was happening in their communities and what their concerns were. We were also able to let them know more about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, how to get involved, along with the benefits of being part of a Neighbourhood Watch and how to sign up to receive Neighbourhood Alerts helping to build Safer Neighbourhoods and Stronger Communities.
It was great to see the interest in Neighbourhood Watch Schemes, and Neighbourhood Alert.
Thanks to TPAS Scotland for inviting us along today and look forward to joining you again tomorrow.
