Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Summer activity at Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

It’s part of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland’s strategy to get out there and meet members of the public to spread the message about watches and how they can make a difference on their area.

Over the summer we travelled across Scotland and met hundreds of people at Dobbies and the Water Safety Scotland event at the Helix near Falkirk, just by the Kelpies. It was a great experience for us and our profile was raised significantly.

Thanks are due to NWS Chair, Stewart Prodger and trustee Easton Millar, for making time to help us meet the people and for various police officers who came along and also met the public.

If you would like to join your local watch or form your own if there isn’t one in your area, visit our website, www.neighbourhoodwatchscotland.co.uk, then click “Your local area” and enter your postcode.

You can tell from our photocollages that we enjoyed ourselves!
