Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Rural Crime Prevention – Walk & Talk Event – Midlothian

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) joined partners from Midlothian Partnership Against Rural Crime (MPARC) yesterday.

NWS joined partners for a Rural Event at Rosemains Steading, Pathhead, Midlothian, where along with local Councillor for the area, representatives from Police Scotland Rural & Acquisitive Crime and Midlothian Community Team, NFU Scotland, Midlothian Council Environmental Health, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland delivered informative inputs and useful crime prevention and security advice, answering questions concerning the Rural Community.
Although the sun was out it was cold at times, so thank you to everyone who came out to speak to us.
A huge thank you also goes to NFU Scotland for arranging the day and to the Callander family for hosting the event and making everyone so welcome.
