Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Blair Atholl

The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team were at the Defender Blair Castle International Horse Trials, Blair Atholl on Thursday 22nd August along with colleagues from Police Scotland’s Rural, Acquisitive & Business Preventions Team, British Horse Society Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Royal Air Force.

It was a fantastic day where we got the chance to provide information on Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, including Rural Watch, Neighbourhood Watch Schemes, and Neighbourhood Alert, whilst our colleagues provided helpful security information and prevention advice.
A huge thanks to our colleagues at the British Horse Society Scotland for inviting us along and to everyone who stopped to speak to us. It was great to see so many interested in hearing more about Rural Watch and Neighbourhood Alerts, and to hear from those who already signed up to receive Neighbourhood Alerts.
The Neighbourhood Watch Team will be back at Blair Castle on Saturday 24th August. If you are attending the event, please stop by and say hello you will find us at the British Horse Society Scotland stall.
