Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Livingston Dobbies – shoppers get the lowdown

We had a great day today at Dobbies Garden Centre, Livingston with colleagues from Police Scotland.

Stewart Prodger, Chair Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Board and Michele got a chance to speak to shoppers and highlight the benefits of getting involved in Neighbourhood Watch Scotland whilst colleagues provided helpful information on topics, such as scams, property and vehicle security, as well as personal safety.
You can tell it’s Christmas!
Leaflets under the tree!
Lovely people hearing the message

A huge thank you to the Duty manager at Dobbies Garden Centre for allowing us to hold the event, and for all his help on the day, and our fantastic Police Scotland colleagues from the West Lothian Community Policing Team. Particular thanks goes to Special Constable Allan who volunteered his time, and to everyone who stopped to speak to us.

It was great to see so much interest in Neighbourhood Watch schemes, Neighbourhood Alert and to speak to those already involved in  Neighbourhood Watches in the area
