Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Central Train Station – Festive Community Safety Event

It was a great day yesterday at Central Train Station, Glasgow with partners from British Transport Police Scotland, Police Scotland Greater Glasgow, Crimestoppers Scotland and Trading Standards Scotland coming together to take part in this worthwhile event with lots of interest from commuters. We also got the chance to hand out some of the fabulous Communi-tree cards (pictured) kindly provided by Trading Standards Scotland.

Thank you to Network Rail for allowing us to hold the event. Special thanks also to partners, especially Trading Standards for the cards and everyone who stopped to speak to us to find out more about Neighbourhood Watch and Neighbourhood Alert and to hear from those who were already part of a Neighbourhood Watch.
