Join Us for a Water Safety and Wildfire Awareness Pop-Up Event
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland is delighted to be joining Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Pentland Hills Regional Park Rangers and Scottish Water for a special community safety pop-up event at Harlaw Reservoir.
As temperatures rise and more people head outdoors to enjoy Scotland’s beautiful countryside, this is a great opportunity to learn how to stay safe around open water and help prevent wildfires.

What to Expect
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
- Receive practical water safety advice for families and outdoor enthusiasts
- Learn about the dangers of open water and how to stay safe near reservoirs, lochs and rivers
- Find out how to reduce the risk of wildfires and protect our countryside
- Meet representatives from Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Water, Pentland Hills Regional Park Rangers and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland
- Discover ways to stay informed about local safety information through Neighbourhood Alert
Whether you’re a walker, cyclist, paddlesports enthusiast, dog owner, or simply enjoying a day out in the Pentland Hills, we’d love to see you there.
