Neighbourhood Watch Scotland is delighted to be attending the Water Safety Scotland Open Day 2026—a free, fun-filled event for all ages in support of World Drowning Prevention Day.

This fantastic event brings together organisations from across Scotland to promote water safety awareness and help people enjoy our lochs, rivers and coastlines safely.
Taking place at the stunning Loch Lomond Shores, the Open Day is designed to be both educational and entertaining, with plenty to see and do for the whole family.
🚤 What you can expect:
Get ready for an action-packed day featuring:
- 🚨 Live rescue demonstrations, including emergency services and rescue dogs in action
- 🛶 Water-based activities such as paddleboarding and canoeing taster sessions
- 🧠 Interactive safety stalls offering life-saving advice and guidance
- 🎨 Family activities, including face painting, arts, crafts and more
- 🧭 Fun extras like orienteering and hands-on learning experiences
There will also be the chance to learn vital safety tips through the Water Safety Code, helping keep you and your loved ones safe near water.
