We had a fabulous time today at Loch Lomond shores for the Water Safety Open Day hosted by Water Safety Scotland and partners where we joined organisations including Water Safety Scotland, RoSPA, RNLI, Scottish Water, Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS), SFRS Youth Volunteers and Trossachs Search and Rescue to name but a few.
On Tuesday 23 July, the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team had the privilege of being invited along to speak to members of Bathgate Probus Club at St Columba's Episcopal Church, Bathgate to highlight the work of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, and provide information about Neighbourhood Watch Schemes, and Neighbourhood Alerts.
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland is supporting the Water Safety Open Day, taking place between 11am and 4pm on Thursday 25 July at Loch Lomond Shores.
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team were at the Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) open day, hosted by the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride on Wednesday 10th July, along with colleagues from Police Scotland Lanarkshire Division, NFU Scotland, British Horse Society Scotland, Scottish Land and Estates and North Lanarkshire Council.
Neighbourhood Watch Scotland were delighted to be involved in the Community Safety Day at Rutherglen Exchange Shopping Centre on Tuesday 25th June. Thank you to Barry and Frank, local Watch Co-ordinators who do a fantastic job at volunteering in their communities and it was great to work along side Trading Standards staff too.
We were back at the Golden Jubilee Hotel, Clydebank today for the 2nd day of the TPAS Scotland Annual Conference. It was another good day with stalls and workshops providing information and advice to tenants and organisations attending from all over Scotland. Here we are with colleagues from Community Links Scotland and Improving Lives.
Staff from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland were at the Golden Jubilee Hotel, Clydebank today for the 1st day of the TPAS Scotland Annual Conference, where around 200 delegates from a variety of organisations including Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Together Leading Communities, Generations Working together, Community Links Scotland, Men Matter Scotland, Scottish Action for Mental Health, as well as various councils and housing associations, such as Dalmuir Park, Barrhead, Langstane, Albyn, Tollcross, Castlehill, Bridgewater, Scottish Borders, Hebridean, Angus, Hjaltland, West of Scotland, Cunninghame, Wheatley Homes, Bield to name but a few will be attending over the 3 days.
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team were at the Royal Highland Show on Thursday 20th June along with colleagues from Police Scotland’s National Rural and Acquisitive Crime Unit.
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team were at B&Q Cumbernauld on the morning of Wednesday 5th June for their second event during Volunteers' Week.
