🚆 Community Safety Event at Edinburgh Waverley Station 🚆

📅 Wednesday 24 September
⏰ 11:00am to 2:00pm

Travelling through Edinburgh Waverley or planning a visit to the city? Why not stop by and say hello.

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland will be joining British Transport Police, Police Scotland Prevention, Intervention Partnerships, Crimestoppers and other partners for a community safety event at Edinburgh Waverley Station.

Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the Knife Angel from Police Scotland and the important conversations it is inspiring around violence prevention and community safety.

Whether you have a question, a concern, or simply want to find out more about staying safe while travelling, we’d be delighted to speak with you.

Come along to:

✅ Learn about British Transport Police’s Text 61016 service and how it can be used to discreetly report non-emergency concerns on the rail network.
✅ Find out how Crimestoppers helps people share information about crime anonymously, how the service works, and how information can be reported online or via its free 24/7 telephone service.
✅ Find out more about the work of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and how we’re helping to support safer and more connected communities across Scotland.
✅ Discover Neighbourhood Alert, our free community messaging service that provides trusted crime prevention, safety and community updates from organisations you can trust.
✅ Speak with our team and partner organisations about any community safety questions or concerns you may have.

Whether you’re catching a train, arriving in Edinburgh, or simply passing through the station, we’d be delighted to meet you. 🚆🤝
