After receiving complaints from the local community in respect of youth issues in the Alva Glen, Community Police officers were in and around the area on Friday and Saturday evening.

On Saturday evening, Police attended the circular seating area in the Alva Glen and a large group of older youths scattered on seeing Police. Police observed a small camp fire which appeared as though it had just been extinguished prior to our attendance.

Over the course of the Saturday evening in particular, Police stopped and engaged with youths who had visited from all over Clackmannanshire and advised them accordingly of the behaviour that is expected of them whilst out in public.

A quantity of alcohol was also recovered and disposed off.
