About 9 Alert 9 Your Community – Police Scotland Activity

Dear {FIRST_NAME},

On Friday 1st May 2026 PC’s Darren Gibson and Matt McCammon, Balfron Community Policing Team are holding a SelectaDNA Advanced Forensic Marking event within the Forth and Endrick area.

We currently have possession of X5 SelectaDNA Marking Kits which are a forensic marking system designed to reduce theft by coding valuable possession (Quad Bikes, Trailers, ATVs, Plant Machinery, Tools, etc.) with synthetic DNA, and using warning labels to alert criminals your property is protected.

As we only have X5 kits currently this event will be limited to X5 People/Properties, however we are in process of obtaining more kits and hope to create a database/waiting list to get around as many farms/agricultural properties as wants it. Each kit is designed to be used on multiple items within your establishment and the coding is unique to you. Further information will be provided on the day.

If you would be interested in us attending and providing you a marking kit and also showing you how it works, please contact us at:
