Good Afternoon {FIRST_NAME},

Officers from our Special Initiative Team deployed over this weekend to support West Lothian Community officers across the region with a variety of high profile and proactive patrols.

Amongst other activities, over 200 vehicles were checked, resulting in 3 uninsured vehicles being removed from our roads. 

Spot checks were also carried out to ensure that individuals subject to bail conditions set by the courts complied with those requirements.

These additional patrols are possible due to the assistance of our volunteer police officers – Special Constables – who support our full time colleagues at peak times throughout the year.
