Dear {FIRST_NAME},
I hope this message finds you well and you are managing to stay warm during this chilly season. As we navigate through these colder months, it is an ideal time for us to show our goodwill by checking in with any neighbours who may be vulnerable or in need of assistance, promoting community spirit whilst doing so.
I am pleased to update you that staff from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) based in Edinburgh have recently undertaken Neighbourhood Alert system training. This means they are now equipped to send out both local and national safety messaging via the Alert system, helping develop safer, stronger, and more resilient neighbourhoods, for the benefit of all.
If you have not already signed up to receive messages from SFRS and would like to do so, the process is simple. Just log in to your Neighbourhood Watch Scotland account, navigate to the ‘Information Providers’ section, click the ‘edit’ button, and check the box for ‘Fire & Rescue Service’. Once you do this, you will start receiving all relevant messages sent out by the SFRS team in Edinburgh.
Thank you for taking the time to look out for one another, and I hope you enjoy the new communications from SFRS, a valued partner. Stay safe.
Kind regards,
Michele
