About 9 Alert 9 Kinross CPT Activity – Kinross Primary School

PC’s Samson & Duncan from the Kinross Community Policing Team recently collaborated with colleagues from the Parking Enforcement Team from Perth & Kinross Council at Kinross Primary School addressing concerns raised by parents and local residents regarding parking and inconsiderate driving in the area.

It is crucial that drivers understand the consequences of inconsiderate parking outside schools and in surrounding streets. Drivers should refrain from parking on pavements, at crossing points and parking too close to junctions.

A small minority ignore these regulations, putting safety at risk during crucial pick-up and drop-off times.

Station Road remains busy with parked cars at these times and whilst there are no restrictions along this road, it is crucial that drivers park and drive with care.

Our commitment to keeping our communities safe means we will continue to carry out random checks in partnership with Perth & Kinross Council and will take enforcement action if necessary.

Additional visits during school drop-off and pick-up times will take place over the coming weeks to maintain ongoing monitoring and enforcement.
