About 9 Alert 9 Community Police – Information Update- Youth Disorder

Dear Community members

In relation to various reports of youth disorder on 7th April 2026 throughout Fife, Kirkcaldy Community officers have carried out high visibility patrols this evening at local transport hubs and other areas where youths have been known to congregate.

A number of youths have been spoken to this evening, and a quantity of alcohol has been confiscated.

We will continue to liaise with transport hubs to identify groups of youths travelling in the area and will work closely with other partner agencies in relation to youth disorder.
