Off-Road Bikes Seized and Male Charged

On 15 June 2026, officers carried out proactive patrols targeting the illegal and antisocial use of off-road motorcycles within the Dunfermline area.

As a result of these efforts, two off-road bikes were seized and a male was charged with a number of road traffic offences.

The illegal use of off-road motorcycles continues to generate concerns within our communities due to the risks posed to pedestrians, other road users and those riding the vehicles. Such behaviour can also cause significant nuisance to local residents.

We would like to thank members of the public who continue to provide information and report incidents to police. Community intelligence plays a vital role in helping us identify offenders and take positive action.
