There were 21 incidents of criminality recorded in July 2025.
PRIORITIES
ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
There were 5 recorded incidents of anti-social behaviour in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 1st July 2025 at Chapelle Crescent, Tillicoultry, a male was found to be acting in a threatening manner and in possession of an offensive weapon. He was charged and has already appeared at court.
On 6th July 2025 at Chapelle Crescent, Tillicoultry a disturbance occurred which resulted a male being arrested for threatening and abusive behaviour as well as numerous other offences. He was arrested and is currently remanded in custody awaiting trial. Another youth was charged with a related offence.
On 15th July 2025 at Park Street, Tillicoultry, a male was found in possession of controlled drugs. He has been reported for this and for other offences, to the Procurator Fiscal.
On 22nd July 2025 at Primrose Place, Tillicoultry, a male was found in possession of controlled drugs. He was issued a Recorded Police Warning.
On 31st July 2025 at Blackfaulds Street, Coalsnaughton, police from the Community Policing Team executed a drugs search warrant during which a controlled drugs were recovered. The tenant has been reported for various drugs related offences, to the Procurator Fiscal.
VANDALISM
There were 3 recorded incidents of vandalism in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
Between 2nd and 9th July 2025 at High Street, Tillicoultry, a wall was graffitied. Local youths are believed to be responsible due to the tag used but no suspect has been identified.
On 2nd July 2025 at Weavers Way, Tillicoultry, a door handle was intentionally damaged. No suspect has been identified, and enquiries are continuing.
On 11th July 2025 at Chapelle Crescent, Tillicoultry, a window was intentionally smashed. A suspect has been identified, and enquiries are continuing.
VIOLENCE
There were 5 recorded incidents of violent crime in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 4th July 2025 at Simpson Drive, Coalsnaughton, a domestic incident occurred which resulted in a female being assaulted. The males responsible was arrested for this and another offence and will appear at court at a later date.
On 6th July 2025 at Stoneyacre, Tillicoultry, a domestic incident occurred, and a minor assault was reported. Police enquiries have now concluded, and no further action will be taken.
On 11th July 2025 at Chapelle Crescent, Tillicoultry, a disturbance occurred during which a female was assaulted. Enquiries have no concluded and no further action will be taken.
On 12th July 2025 at Johnston Crescent, Tillicoultry, a female was involved in an altercation with family members. She was subsequently arrested and held in custody for multiple offences including assault.
On 16th July 2025 at Primrose Place, Tillicoultry, a male was the subject of an unprovoked assault. Enquiries are continuing to identify the person responsible. Police are also investigating another offence linked to this incident.
ACQUISITIVE CRIME
There were 8 recorded incidents of acquisitive crime in the area over the last month, they were as follows –
On 1st July 2025 at TA Mack, High Street, Tillicoultry, a quantity of goods was stolen. The male responsible has been traced and charged and will appear at court at a later date.
On 7th July 2025 at Chapelle Crescent, Tillicoultry, a resident was subject to financial telephone fraud. Enquiries are continuing to identify the person responsible.
On 7th July 2025 at Nike, Sterling Mills, 3 females entered the store and stole a large quantity of goods. Enquiries are continuing to identify the persons responsible.
Between 13th and 16th July 2025 at High Street, Tillicoultry, a storage shed was broken into on several occasions, and items were stolen. The female responsible has been arrested and is currently remanded in custody.
On 17th July 2025 at Gartinny, Coalsnaughton, a resident was subject to a fraud. Enquiries are continuing to identify the person responsible.
On 18th July 2025 at Ramsay Terrace, Tillicoultry, a wallet was stolen from within a residential property. Enquiries have been concluded, and no suspect has been identified.
ROAD TRAFFIC
There were no recorded incidents of road traffic offending in the area over the last month.

ANY OTHER COMMUNITY ISSUES
Community officers continue to address parking and driving issues in Tillicoultry. Tickets and warnings have been issued and will continue to be issued where appropriate. Please continue to report any concerns to police on 101 or directly to us via e-mail.
The Clackmannanshire Community Team will continue to target local drug dealers utilising intelligence received from the community. This intelligence is essential to enable officers to act against those involved and we encourage any information to be passed to the police or via Crimestoppers. Several warrants and stops were executed this month resulting in the recovery of controlled drugs and cash.
