COMMUNITY AWARENESS

This is an awareness message to alert users that Police Scotland have received calls regarding potential Bogus Workmen operating in the Glenrothes area.

Of particular note is a male described as stocky built, late 50’s and talking with an Irish accent who has carried out minor construction work of poor quality but and at an over inflated price.

Before accepting any work ensure you receive a written quote from a reputable company. Compare this to other quotes and always use a trusted tradesperson who should be willing to identify themselves and provide evidence of this.
