Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) staff, as part of their Festive Campaign and the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence were at University Hospital Monklands today with Police Scotland to carry out a Community Safety event.

During the event the team highlighted the benefits of getting involved with NWS including joining or starting a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and signing up for free to Neighbourhood Alerts, and shared advice on #16DaysOfActivism Against Gender-Based Violence, personal safety, scams, and the Disclosure Scheme for Domestic Abuse Scotland (DSDAS). Remember you have the #righttoask.

Thanks to University Hospital Monklands staff for the warm welcome and providing the venue and to all the staff and visitors who stopped to engage with us. It was a great opportunity to speak to you to discuss your concerns and provide information and advice.
