The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland team had a fabulous time at the Royal Highland Show today, despite the frequent showers. We joined colleagues from Police Scotland and the Scottish Partnership Against Rural Crime (SPARC), to provide information on how to start up a new watch, the benefits of signing up to the free Neighbourhood Alert information system and Rural Watch, whilst our colleagues provided helpful crime prevention and security advice. We were also delighted to be joined by one of our volunteer watch coordinators.
A huge thank you to our SPARC colleagues for inviting us along, and to everyone who stopped by to see us.
A final mention to Panda, a gentle 18 month old working collie, who whilst watching over her flock of sheep, was happy to soak up attention from the many passers by (including us).
