About 9 News 9 Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) open day – East Kilbride

The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team were at the Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) open day, hosted by the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride on Wednesday 10th July, along with colleagues from Police Scotland Lanarkshire Division, NFU Scotland, British Horse Society Scotland, Scottish Land and Estates and North Lanarkshire Council.

It was a fantastic event and great to see so many adults and children attending despite the wet weather. During the afternoon we provided information on Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, including Rural Watch, Neighbourhood Watch Schemes, and Neighbourhood Alert, whilst our colleagues provided helpful security information, and prevention advice.

A huge thanks to our colleagues at Police Scotland for inviting us along and to everyone who stopped to speak to us. It was wonderful to get a chance to speak to several people who were already part of a neighbourhood Watch.
