It’s been a busy Saturday. We were also at HopeFest, part of Perth & Kinross Council’s Summer of Hope initiative, supporting mental health and recovery.
What a privilege hearing people share their stories and it was great chatting with some of the organisations helping in the community, such as Andys Man Club, SAMH, Simon Community Scotland and Freed Up CIC.
All strong Scotland were on hand to organise the fun races. The charity supports the improvement and self-management of health and overall wellness, especially for those experiencing significant life challenges and those in marganalised groups.
Excellent burgers and cold juice were provided by the Rapid Relief Team and these went down a treat.
We chatted about our free Neighbourhood Alert information sharing platform and many people felt it was an excellent way of keeping up-to-date with community news.
We were also raising awareness of BT’s Digital Voice programme, helping people understand what the switchover means, what support is available, and how to stay alert to scams. More about the switchover is explained here: https://www.bt.com/broadband/digital-voice
