Neighbourhood Watch Scotland had a fantastic day at the Special Constable Annual Conference, and we would like to extend our thanks to Police Scotland for the invitation.
It was a great opportunity to speak with dedicated volunteer officers who give up their time to support their communities and make a real difference. Their commitment and passion for community safety were truly inspiring including one remarkable officer with an incredible 27 years of service.
Throughout the day, we also connected with a range of fantastic organisations some supporting policing and other emergency services, and others working directly within communities across Scotland. These included Lifelines Scotland, Police Scotland Youth Volunteers (PSYV), the Christian Police Association, Street Pastors, White Ribbon Scotland, Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance, Canine Concern Scotland Trust (Therapet), Thin Blue Paw, and Hero Paws to name but a few👏
Events like this highlight the strength of partnership working and our shared commitment to keeping communities safe, supported, and connected.
