TPAS Annual Conference 2025

Staff from Neighbourhood Watch Scotland attended the TPAS Scotland Annual Conference at the Golden Jubilee Hotel in Clydebank on Friday and Saturday this week. This year’s event marked 45 years of tenant participation and welcomed a number of delegates from a range of organisations, including Tenants Together (Scotland), Scotland’s tenant participation and engagement network, AbilityNet, councils and housing associations such as Whiteinch & Scotstoun, Link, and Waverley.

The conference focused on the key issues currently affecting tenants and housing staff, as well as those anticipated in the future. Over the two days, we had the opportunity to host a workshop introducing Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and BT Digital Voice. We engaged with tenants from across Scotland, learning about their communities and concerns, and sharing how they can get involved with Neighbourhood Watch Scotland.

We also highlighted the benefits of joining a Neighbourhood Watch group and signing up to Neighbourhood Alerts—valuable tools that support the creation of safer neighbourhoods and stronger communities. It was encouraging to see the high level of interest in our work and the positive response to both Neighbourhood Alert and the idea of starting local Neighbourhood Watch groups.

A heartfelt thank you to TPAS Scotland for the invitation, and to all the delegates for stopping and speaking to us and visiting our workshop, making the event so meaningful and inspiring.
