The team had the pleasure of attending an event at the Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway today, as part of a nationwide campaign celebrating 200 years of the modern railway.

It was cold but dry and lots of people came along to see the trains and the railway museum and many stopped by to learn more about how neighbourhood watches help to build stronger, safer communities by connecting those living there. We also provided information on the free Neighbourhood Alert system, which sees people receiving relevant information from trusted providers such as Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and Trading Standards Scotland.

Our colleagues from Crimestoppers were also on hand to discuss how crime can be reported safely and anonymously and they provided information on how younger people, aged 11-18 years, can safely report crime through Fearless, their dedicated youth service.
