Earlier today, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) joined officers from Police Scotland at Caledonian Retail Park, Wishaw, for a well-attended Retail and Community Information Event.
NWS staff and police colleagues visited several stores to promote Retail Watch, with a number of store managers signing up to receive free Neighbourhood Alerts a positive step toward creating safer retail environments.
Despite the wet and cooler weather, there was a steady flow of shoppers, allowing us to share information about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, the benefits of joining or starting a Watch, and how to register for the Neighbourhood Alert system. It was fantastic to see such strong interest from the public.
