We had a fantastic time at the Recovery Walk Scotland event in Kings Park, Stirling today. We met lots of amazing people, some in recovery, and many who attended to remember loved ones lost.
There were also many organisations present discussing how they can help those in addiction and their families and the sense of community spirit was fantastic and uplifting.
Lots of people were interested to hear about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland and some were surprised to learn how easy it is to set up a new watch. Others took flyers to sign up to receive free Neighbourhood Alert messages.
Thank you to the Scottish Recovery Consortium for having us along today. It was a brilliant day and highlighted just how important relationships and staying connected are.
