We had a brilliant time today at the Lanarkshire Partnership Against Rural Crime (LPARC) Fun Day at Strathclyde Country Park where we joined our partners from Police Scotland Lanarkshire Preventions Team, and Rural, Acquisitive & Business Preventions Team (RAB-PT), Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and The British Horse Society Scotland to name but a few.
It was wonderful to see so many adults, children, families and even pets enjoying the sunshine and fantastic attractions. A special highlight was meeting Maisie, a beautiful and kind-natured Therapet dog, who, along with her lovely owner, visits hospitals to bring comfort and joy.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat with us and learn more about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland. We were thrilled by the interest in the free Neighbourhood Alert system and loved speaking with people keen to start a Neighbourhood Watch in their community.
A special thank you to the local Watch member who shared how starting a Watch has made a positive difference in their area, your story was truly inspiring.
And of course, a huge thank you to our colleagues at Police Scotland for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful and enjoyable day.

Together, we’re building safer, more connected communities.

During the event we also shared information about the BT Digital Voice changeover.
