Great Conversations in Kilmacolm About BT Digital Voice

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland had a fantastic day at the BT Digital Voice drop-in event at Kilmacolm Community Centre, Cargill Centre, meeting local residents and speaking about the digital switchover, what it means for them, and where they can access support and advice. It was wonderful to see so many people come along, ask questions, share their experiences, and take part in positive conversations.

While in the area, our team also spent time out and about delivering BT Digital Voice and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland leaflets, helping to keep residents informed about the switchover and raising awareness of how Neighbourhood Watch Scotland supports safer, stronger, and more connected communities.

A huge thank you to the staff at Kilmacolm Community Centre for their warm welcome and support throughout the day. We were delighted to visit such a welcoming community venue that provides opportunities for local people to come together and stay connected.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat to us. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to meet local residents, and answer questions.

Important reminder: BT, EE and Plusnet customers will be moved to Digital Voice by January 2027. The old analogue phone network is being switched off and replaced with digital landlines that work using broadband. Please follow any guidance from your provider and take action when contacted to help avoid disruption to your service.

From community conversations to leaflet drops, here are a few photos from our day in Kilmacolm, helping local residents stay informed about the BT Digital Voice switchover and the work of Neighbourhood Watch Scotland 📸
