A huge thank you to Dumfries and Galloway Council for inviting us to the Dumfries and Galloway Community Council Conference on Saturday 20 September. It was a fantastic event with some really interesting presentations, including one on community resilience. We met some lovely Community Counsellors who told us about some of the work they are doing to help build stronger, safer communities.

Lots were interested in how to start up new watches, particularly in some of the many rural communities in the area and also how to sign up to the Neighbourhood Alert information system.
