Neighbourhood Watch Scotland had a great time attending the BT Digital Voice drop‑in event at Cockburnspath Village Hall, speaking with local residents about what the Digital Voice switchover means and how it may affect them.
It was fantastic to have so many positive conversations, answer questions, and offer reassurance and practical advice in a relaxed, community setting 🤝. We also spent time out and about in Cove, Oldhamstocks, and surrounding areas, delivering helpful Digital Voice and Neighbourhood Watch Scotland leaflets to help ensure as many residents as possible were informed and aware of what the BT Digital Voice switchover means for them.
🙏 Our thanks to Cockburnspath Village Hall for kindly allowing us to hold the event there, and to everyone who stopped by to chat it was great to meet you and support the local community
📢 If you are a customer of BT Group (including EE and Plusnet), your phone line will switch to Digital Voice by January 2027. BT is advising customers to follow the guidance they provide and act when contacted. Don’t delay — taking action when asked will help avoid any disruption. It’s not just BT—phone providers across the UK are making this change, so contact your provider to find out how it affects you.
