Safer Neighbourhoods Stronger Communities

Bellshill Community Health Clinic – Event

On 29 November, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) staff, joined PC McCrone at Bellshill Community Health Clinic for a Community Safety event as part of the 16 Days Of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign.

During the event the team shared advice on personal safety, home security, scams, Disclosure Scheme for Domestic Abuse Scotland (DSDAS) and Remember you have the Right To Ask.

Always great to see partners working together to help build stronger, safer communities by providing support wherever possible including the benefits of getting involved with NWS including joining or starting a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme and signing up for free to Neighbourhood Alerts. The event was a great opportunity to speak with many locals able to discuss concerns and provide information and advice.

Thanks to Bellshill Community Health Clinic staff for the warm welcome and providing the venue and to all those who stopped to engage with us.
