About 9 News 9 A Brilliant Community Day at Lanarkshire Mosque

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland had a fantastic time today at a community event, arranged by NHS Lanarkshire and warmly hosted by the wonderful ladies at Lanarkshire Mosque, who made everyone feel very welcome.

It was a pleasure to attend alongside NHS Lanarkshire and a range of partner organisations, including Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, North Lanarkshire Disability Forum (umbrella organisation for the Improving Lives Initiative and Macmillan Improving the Cancer Journey Lanarkshire), Lanarkshire Carers, Carers Together, The Wise Group, and North Lanarkshire Council.

The event provided a great opportunity to hear about the fantastic work taking place across local communities. It was particularly encouraging to see strong interest in Neighbourhood Watch and Neighbourhood Alerts, with several people signing up on the day and others exploring the idea of starting a Watch in their own area.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a positive and welcoming experience.
