Celebrating Volunteers’ Week 2025

Celebrating Volunteers’ Week 2025 – A huge thanks to all our amazing volunteer Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators for all you do throughout the year.

This year marks the 41st anniversary of Volunteers’ Week, taking place from 2–8 June 2025. Neighbourhood Watch Scotland is proud to join thousands of charities and voluntary organisations across the country in recognising the incredible contributions of volunteers.

We’d love to hear from you — our amazing volunteers — about the activities you’re involved in throughout the week. Share your stories with us so we can highlight the fantastic work happening in communities across Scotland on our website.

📣 Tell us what you’re up to!
Email us at info@neighbourhoodwatchscotland.co.uk

As part of our activities throughout the week, the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) team will be out and about.

📍 First stop: B&Q, Westway Retail Park, Cumbernauld
🗓 Wednesday 4 June
🕙 10am – 2pm

Come along and meet the team! We’ll be showcasing the incredible work of our 7,931 members and sharing the benefits of Neighbourhood Alert, which is already helping over 33,000 people stay informed — all completely free. Let’s celebrate the power of community together!

We will be on-site to answer questions about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, talk about how easy it is to get involved as a volunteer, and provide information on how to sign up to Neighbourhood Alert.

Below are the events we’ll be attending throughout the rest of the week. To stay up to date with any changes, be sure to follow us on Facebook and check the events calendar on the Neighbourhood Watch Scotland website: Neighbourhoodwatchscotland.co.uk/events
