Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) switch-off – Queensberry Square, Dumfries DG1 1BL

Upcoming Energy Advice Event – RTS Meter Changes

Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) is partnering with E.ON Next to help reach communities most likely to be affected by the upcoming RadioTeleswitch Service (RTS) switch off on 30 June 2025.

As part of this initiative, the NWS team are hosting a free pop-up event:

🗓 Thursday 12 June 2025
🕤 10am – 4pm
📍 Queensberry Square, Dumfries DG1 1BL

where you can find out more and speak to the NWS team. Your Community Safety Team who has organised the Talk to Us Event will be on hand to answer any questions or concerns you have including dog fouling, littering, fly tipping, abandoned vehicles, neighbourhood disputes

If you think you might be affected by the RTS switch off, or simply want to learn more, please join us. The NWS team will be on hand to:

  • Explain what the RTS switch off means for you
  • Offer advice on what steps to take if you are affected
  • Share information about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland

It is crucial that affected customers arrange for a smart meter to be fitted before the switch off on 30 June 2025.

If you’re not an E.ON Next customer and use another energy provider, please see the Ofgem website: Replacing your Radio Teleswitch electricity meter | Ofgem
