About 9 Alert 9 Youth Disorder and Anti-social behaviour

Clacks Community Policing Team will be out patrolling the local areas this weekend.

At this time of year with the nice weather, there is usually a significant increase in youth related anti-social behaviour. Many instances are linked to alcohol intoxication.

I appreciate we were all young once and never got into any bother… ;1, however, some recent examples are simply not acceptable and is having a significant impact on the community;

– BUSES BEING ATTACKED BY GROUPS OF YOUTHS

– ELDERLY RESIDENTS HAVING THEIR DOORS KICKED

– LARGE GROUPS WEARING BALACLAVAS, STREET DRINKING AND INTIMIDATING PEOPLE PASSING BY

– INTOXICATED YOUTHS TRYING TO GOAD PUB PATREONS TO FIGHT

– THREATENING SHOP OWNERS AND CAUSING DAMAGE

Please stay in touch with your children and guide them away from being part of such behaviour – it will not be tolerated. If you witness any such behaviour, please contact 101 or 999 to make us aware and we will attend. If you know those involved, tell us and they will be dealt with appropriately. If you think your children would benefit from a visit from your local CPT officer, drop us a message and we’ll get something arranged.

Clackmannanshire offers a range of leisure activities to get your kids involved in – Leisure Activities

Please share this message to any people you know who live locally and would benefit from regular messages about your community.
