About 9 Alert 9 Your Community – Police Scotland Joint Partnership Activity

Dear {FIRST_NAME},

Due to recent incidents relating to anti-social behaviour, Police Constables Easton and Smith along with partners from Licensing and Trading Standards attended a premise in Alva on 1st October 2025.

This premise was operating whilst in breach of an offence under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 and will be reported in due course for this matter to the Procurator Fiscal.

Trading standards gave advice in relation to the sale and display of tobacco and vape related products and Licensing imposed an immediate ban on the sale of alcohol.

If you have any concerns relating to the illegal sale of alcohol and vape/tobacco related products, please contact me on fraser.easton2@scotland.police.uk
