About 9 Alert 9 Man Arrested – Kinross

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a number of offences in Kinross.

 

The incidents happened between Friday, 11 and Saturday, 12 July, 2025, in the Bowton Road and Station Road areas.

 

Around 4.40pm on Saturday, 12 July, officers received a report of a disturbance in Bowton Road. There were no reported injuries.

 

A 44-year-old man was later arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

 

Following further enquiries, he was also reported for shopliftings in High Street, Station Road, and Bishop View between 24 June and 9 July.

 

He was due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court on Thursday, 17 July.

 

Constable Ben Samson said: “I would like to the thank the public for their assistance in this matter.

 

“I would remind anyone who sees any suspicious activity in their community to report to police.”
