On Friday 23rd May 2025, Kinross Community Officer PC Samson joined the Milnathort Primary School bike bus. 

The bike bus, organised by Kinross-shire Trishaws and Community Cycling SCIO, is designed to support and encourage primary school children to cycle to school given them experience of cycling on roads with the safety of being directed by adults and others cycling. 

The bike bus runs every Friday morning and picks up cyclists at various stops on the route to the primary school. 

This cycle was very well attended by children and adults alike and it was great to see how many were involved. It gives the children valuable experience and grows their confidence.

PC Samson would like to thank the group for their commitment to the local community with this initiative and also extend thanks to roads users for their patience during this.
