Between 10th and 12th May 2025, Police Scotland received two reports of drone activity which caused concern to local residents in the Alva area.

It’s been reported that a white drone fitted with a camera flew directly to the reporter’s garden and hovered for three to five minutes on each occasion.

During both incidents, the drone appeared to follow the movement of persons within the garden causing them understandable alarm.

If there are any future sightings of this drone or similar being operated in this manner, please contact 101 and ask for myself to be made aware.
