Dear {FIRST_NAME},
Officers from the Clackmannanshire Community Policing Team have been made aware of a recent incident of Fraud in the Tillicoultry area.
On Wednesday 18th June 2025, the complainers were within their home address on Moss Road, Tillicoultry when they were alerted to the rear door of their property being opened thinking it was a parcel delivery driver.
It was in fact a male described as 6ft, white, in his 40s, short dark greying hair. He was wearing dark trousers, brown quilted jacket, also a pink ear piece/hearing aid in one of his ears.
The male suspect explained that he was there as he had fixed damage to their chimney and wanted to see the water ingress and demanded £400.00 from the complainers for this work.
Money was handed over to this male who left the area on foot.
