We are pleased to share that Neighbourhood Watch Scotland will be joining the British Horse Society (BHS) and partner organisations at the upcoming BHS Trailer Safety Day.

 

📅 Saturday 11 April
9:00am – 12:00 noon
📍 Ayrshire Trailers Ltd, Unit A, 3 Moorend, Shewalton Road, Irvine, KA11 5AW

 

This informative event will offer a range of practical workshops and expert advice, including:

 

  • Pre-travel checks and safety equipment, tyres, brakes, breakaway cable, fitness of trailer, weights, loading, trailer maintenance, floors, mirrors etc.
  • Hitching up and unhitching safely, reversing, visibility and manoeuvring techniques
  • Crime prevention advice, security and trailer identification
  • Large Animal Rescue awareness and display
  • Input from organisations including Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, SPARC and industry professionals
