Neighbourhood Watch Scotland (NWS) is partnering with E.ON Next to help reach communities most likely to be affected by the upcoming RadioTeleswitch Service (RTS) switch off on 30 June 2025.
As part of this initiative, the NWS team are hosting a free pop-up event:
🗓 Tuesday, 10 June 2025
🕤 10am – 1pm
📍 Asda Glasgow Parkhead Forge Superstore, 1300 Duke Street, Glasgow G31 4EB (Near to the Pharmacy and Customer Services)
where you can find out more and speak to the NWS team. A member of the local Police Scotland Safer Communities team will also be joining us to provide helpful prevention advice and answer any community concerns you have.
If you think you might be affected by the RTS switch off, or simply want to learn more, please join us. Our team will be on hand to:
- Explain what the RTS switch off means for you
- Offer advice on what steps to take if you are affected
- Share information about Neighbourhood Watch Scotland
It is crucial that affected customers arrange for a smart meter to be fitted before the switch off on 30 June 2025.
