About 9 Alert 9 Water Safety Scotland’s Water Safety Code – Lets keep safe in and around the water.

Good morning.

In view of the recent spell of lovely weather, we’d like to highlight the importance of keeping safe when using the many bodies of water in and around Scotland and with this in mind, the Water Safety Code can be found by clicking the link below,

https://watersafetyscotland.org.uk/advice-hub/water-safety-code/

Please also refer to Water Safety Scotland’s website, which contains lots of useful advice and information on how to stay safe whilst enjoying swimming and many other water based activities.

The website also includes the recent addition of information relating to Tombstoning. Tombstoning is an activity where people jump into water from height and it’s name comes from the way a person falls and plunges into deep water. To learn more about the dangers surrounding this, please refer to the leaflet below.

We would be grateful if you could share this information with your family, friends and contacts and lets help to keep everyone safe in and around the water this summer.
