South Perthshire Community Policing – October 2026

Hello all,

Here’s an update for what we’ve been up to in October.

As previously mentioned, neighbourhood alerts is a good way for me to reach out to the community so feel free to get in touch with any concerns or issues.

So what has been going on?

– Pauline and I were involved in a domestic abuse week of action, targeting perpetrators locally.

– We were deployed to football matches throughout Tayside and further afield.

– We assisted our colleagues from Perth and Kinross Council in relation to enforcing freedom of access to core paths.

– I was invited down to Crieff High School to answer questions from a Criminology class. The pupils had great questions and I enjoyed sharing some examples from my experiences.

– We were deployed for Operation Moonbeam – Police Scotland’s operation around fireworks night. We’ll be out in the coming days in relation to this as well.

– Throughout October we’ve continued to respond to calls for police and been out on foot patrol / monitoring traffic issues at known hotspots.

If you have any questions or anything you’d like to report please consider:
