Neighbourhood Watch Scotland were delighted to attend Water Safety Scotland’s Annual Information Exchange Meeting on 18th September at the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park headquarters in Balloch.

The meeting was attended by many partner agencies all discussing measures that are currently being taken to reduce the number of water related incidents and fatalities caused by drowning. Water Safety Scotland are at the heart of this excellent work and advice and tool kits relating to water safety can be found on their website, www.watersafetyscotland.org.uk

Thank you also to the Park Rangers of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park who explained about the many challenges they face managing such a busy area and of the great effort they put in to keeping people safe.
